# Return to PME 2.0.5.x

Returning from PME 2.1 to PME 2.0.5.x is different from a normal update.
Restore the JSON file that you exported before migrating to PME 2.1.

1. Uninstall the PME 2.1 Extension.
2. Exit Blender, then start it again.
3. Install and enable the PME 2.0.5.x Legacy Add-on that you used previously.
4. Import the JSON file that you exported before migrating to PME 2.1.

JSON exported from PME 2.1 may contain features that PME 2.0.5.x does not support.
Importing PME 2.1 JSON directly into PME 2.0.5.x is not a supported rollback procedure.

This procedure restores the state saved before migration. Menus added or edited in PME 2.1
will not be restored.
