I’m using a Razer Naga. I’ve assigned the extra buttons to things like Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Enter. I couldn’t really take full advantage of the rest—I tend to forget what I customized them for.
Since I also use a pen tablet sometimes, I stopped putting too much focus on customization.
That said, I find the Naga very comfortable to hold thanks to its size—my hand doesn’t get tired easily. (I actually injured my hand using the Basilisk because it was too small for me.)
Even the unused buttons give me peace of mind, knowing I can use them as triggers for temporary custom scripts if needed. (Maybe that’s just psychological, though.)
