Ah… I truly feel sorry about this. @Dangry is doing an amazing job. I was able to easily install Modifier List Fork (ML.F) from Extensions, and I must say, it was a very advanced experience.
Yes, we do need a main page. I’ll do my best to create one as soon as possible. However, I don’t intend to fork PME like ML.F.
As far as I know, ML was originally distributed as free software (wasn’t it…? I think so). If it was designed as free software, forking it or adapting it for Extensions would not be an issue. On the other hand, for software like PME, which is paid, there needs to be a discussion about whether it’s appropriate to make it freely accessible to everyone. Personally, I’m hesitant to support forking or making PME compatible with Extensions.
Maybe my inner conflict is meaningless, but I can’t help but hope that roaoao might come back, even tomorrow. It’s only been a year since his last post. Is PME truly broken? I’m not talking about the software itself—I mean, why hasn’t roaoao returned?
To be honest, my inability to take significant action comes down to my lack of skill (and admittedly, some laziness). I purchased PME three years ago and started learning Python just to understand it. I’m not particularly bright, and I often wish I could fully grasp the design that has been evolving since 2.7. There’s so much I’d like to ask roaoao myself.
