I, too, tried it with 4.2.0, and it works fine without any hacks. Before updating, I was backreading posts about incompatibility issues and some workarounds to make PME work, especially since the addon hasn’t been updated in a while, but mine worked, no errors. I thought I would have to remain with 3.6. My Blender is heavily customized, and I can barely use Blender without PME.
