When I copy and paste directly from the info window after creating the mix color node from the menu, it worked for me. I didn’t hit apply though, just pasted it and hit ‘OK’.
Also, I tried pasting the command you posted and that didn’t work - even though the look the same… not sure why.
EDIT ok so apparently it works as a stack key (which is how I tested), but not in a pie menu. I just tried to create a pie with the same command, and it brings up the converter→mix node… not sure why.
A workaround would be to create the node as a Stack key first and call that from the pie menu. Not ideal, though.
