I used to believe that drivers could take advantage of object properties and had happy dreams of one day becoming a Blender magician. But that dream is slowly fading away… 
On the other hand, your approach with the color attribute is already a rainbow of peace itself. I will adopt that approach in the future too, yeah, no doubt. I really appreciate your ideas, they are like a light saber for me. Thank you so much.
