There is another workaround, since addon keymaps are registered as normal keymaps you can search them directly.

For example I made a test menu and used 5 as shortcut

So now I search for 5 on keymaps

And there it is, now you can change it to Click and Drag.

The problem here is that you will break the ability of the addon to edit the keymap since it doesn’t recognize Click and Drag.

So if you want to change the shortcut again you have to press the x on the addon to reset the “keymap link”

If you want to use this way I would recommend writing in the name of your menu a reminder, something like (Click and drag - Broken)
