Interesting idea to have an autorun switch. I think it’s possible but some improvements need to be made before, otherwise this would be a risky feature.
Mainly, a smarter selection recovery and a performance improvement. Both are on my todo list and I know roughly how to do them, but it will take time and I don’t have any until next month. If I manage to do both, I will look into implementing that autorun toggle.
All that said, if it gets implemented, moving, adding and deleting vertices while the operator is running will probably be risky.
