Hi , i want to speed up the knife tool so its working with one hotkey.
I have read that there is no support for modal maps for the knife tool right?
Or is it maybe possible somehow else?
What im looking for is that if pressing one hotkey the (knife tool runs and set the first vertex)
then hover over another place and press hotkey again ( knife creates a cut and confirm )
Two clicks instead of four by default.
I was thinking that is possible with stack key but can’t find the modal maps for the knife…
PS: i can achive to cut with only 2 clicks, by disabling the “wait for input” checkbox( knife operator settings), but then it works different. It creates cuts over all edges you hover over and makes the cut not straight which is not what i want.
