thanks, After unsuccessfully trying the “Custom Tab” for years. I just figured out the Custom Tab is not an addition to the function. That is to say, you can’t have something under the “Menu Tab” and something under the “Custom Tab” and it will concatenate the two. It’s only one TAB at a time.
So I need to take what everything I’m doing under Menu or Command… and combine them into one line of code under the Custom Tab. Or call an external script from the Custom Tab.
I’ll need to make an external script first in order to understand how to condense it into one line of code. Sorry just stupid that way. Gosh, I wish the python ref manual wasn’t so cryptic.
On the other items on the list. I’ve read and read many posts in this group on how to alter the look of the PIE layout. I’ve come to the conclusion our hands are tied due to the Blender PIE format. Maybe it’s time to dump the PIE toolset and build a more customizable RMB Contextual menu framework.
