Thank you for your quick reply, and especially for the video showing how to look at the code - I didn’t know I could do that (I’m just learning Blender). Also, the link to the API reference is appreciated.

But I still can’t get the menu to work. Here’s how I’ve got it configured:

The item shows in the menu:

But when I click on “View Mode” the pie menu closes and nothing happens.

I’m using the 9bae9b634ec6 beta release (05/28/19).
