Is this still not possible? Or maybe some other workarounds are today available?

Hi Roaoao, right now those popup dialogs panels close when you click out of them but often I would to have them opened until I would want to close them, could you make that we close those panels pressing LMB while we are having pressed RMB?? I do not know if I can explain myself, with RMB pressed you click LMB outside the panel and then it closes. Could you??
Unfortunately, it’s impossible. But you can createcustom side panel and add your popup dialog to that panel.
