The most important thing is cant use macros. Importing your preset macro, they do not work, it’s the hotkey
Did you change the hotkey? One of the macros has Lasso Select tool, which works properly with mouse hotkeys only.

Can this be a problem in the builds of blender? Using blender with bevel shader build
Not sure. Couldn’t find this build for linux. Please try to reproduce the issue in Blender 2.79.
