How do i keep a panel open? Even with auto close disabled as soon as i click out of the panel it closes, can it be pinned in some way?
It can’t be done in blender, (technically it can but it doesnt work well at all and its incredibly difficult to set up and breaks often) your best bet would be to create multiple layouts and then use pme to have a button that toggles the ui between those layouts 
sorry, but blender doesnt play nice with floating things.
