I tried to do the same with Shrinkwrap or Curve modifiers. They need to define target (eyedropper) and vertex group. How can these be inserted in modal?

Impossible in the current version. Will try to add some tools for this in the future.

Little bug I think: If I press “E”, it does not open “Edit mode” anymora, does nothing.

E to open Mesh Edit mode? Is it a custom hotkey?
