Pior, emboo2, i’ll probably leave it as it is for now. Word ‘menu’ is also used in tooltips and function names. I’ll add some note about this word in glossary.
I’m going to rename the addon after Blender 2.8 release. UI Editor or something like that. And it will be good moment to rename UI texts and functions.

Nope, this feature is not supported for panels, but I’ll try to add it.
