Hello - I just bought this from BlenderMarket as it seems very powerful based on the Jimmy Livefjord overview. I have been meaning to get it for a while, and finally have just a little bit of free time to get it up and running.

However there seems to be no documentation. The addon does link to a series to unnarrated videos (here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvDADkqMLEw) but there is no proper manual to speak of that one can read to directly access the information. For a paid addon this is a problem. If the videos where at the very least narrated and edited down to be clear and concise it would be fine, but in this state this is really quite frustrating. The videos also have unneeded background music which just adds another extra level of annoyance

Maybe there is a documentation somewhere, or at the very least a quickstart guide ? Ultimately such documentation could also be part of the addon itself, written in plain text at the bottom of the editor panel.

For those tempted to say “just watch the videos” : unfortunately they do not replace a proper documentation, since once might have many questions that a series of unnarrated videos doesn’t answer. I should also probably add that I fully understand the concept of the addon - I am just running into an issue when trying to build my first menu, which is not covered by the videos as far as i can see. I also have many questions about specific aspects of the addon, and since videos cannot be searched it is all the more frustrating.

Practically speaking : After some trial and error I did manage to work my way through the basics of using the addon, but I am running into an issue with the first item I need in my menu, which is GreasePencil draw / stroke type : Poly / data source : scene / stroke placement : Surface / additive drawing : on. How do I make it so that the editor captures all these extra parameters, as opposed to just capturing bpy.ops.gpencil.draw(mode=‘DRAW_POLY’) ? I suppose I could catch a sequence of actions as Macro steps, but can this be done directly as a menu item ?

(note that I would be very willing to help you designing some helper text that could be integrated directly into the addon in order to walk first time users through the early steps. It really wouldn’t take much and could make quite a big difference for new users.)

Thanks !
