When I add the command “Remouve Doubles” to a Popup dialog in Pie menu mode I don´t get the message saying how many vetices have been deleted. Why?
Looks like blender blocks messages from sub-commands. I’ll try to fix that in the next version.

Yes, spacebar should work. I recommend to use it In
which allows you to open the default search menu with the same shortcut.
